When I lived in Buenos Aires for 2 years I had a similar experience. Frenetic first weeks of mad tangoing turn into a comfortable routine where familiar faces start to become part of your day and tango becomes more measured. The city has so many layers to explore. It is wonderful when you don't even realise you are speaking Spanish, it just comes naturally.
