Coming soon: the best of Argentine tango from around the internet

This is Fishnets & Fedoras, a site reborn.

Maybe 15 years ago, I was deep in the thrall of a tango addiction, but I was also enjoying exploring the booming blogosphere, as it was called back then. I launched a site on Typepad called, yes, Fishnets & Fedoras, to share what I found.

In those early, pre-social media days of the web, it built a good following, and I made contact with some great people as a result. But then, work changed and children came along. Time for both tango and blogging became hopelessly limited.

The site eventually died. I have a backup of the contents, and I might be able to bring the archives back online, but not just yet.

The years have rolled by, time has opened up again, and we're taking our first steps back onto the dance floor. And so, it's time for this site to be reborn, in an age of newsletters, social media, and ubiquitous YouTube Tango videos.
